Maj. Gen. Adamu Laka, National Coordinator of The National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), The Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development, Bayelsa State, and other stakeholders participate in a strategic meeting at the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to reaffirm our commitment to youth development. This is a cornerstone for national peace and security, as enumerated in our recently validated State Youth Policy. The meeting featured the review of The Policy Framework and National Action Plan for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PFNAP for PCVE), organised by NCTC–ONSA in collaboration with Hedayah International Centre for PVE.
In a peaceful society, youth don’t just survive; they thrive and have a critical role in shaping a secure and prosperous future.
