The NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Boro Town, Bayelsa State, was abuzz with activity today, January 24, 2025, as the 2024 batch C Stream II Corps Members were officially sworn in. This ceremony marked the beginning of their national service year, a pivotal program fostering unity, patriotism, and community development across Nigeria.

The Honourable Commissioner, Mr. Alfred Kemepado Nimizigha, delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the corps members to approach their service year with dedication and an open mind. He emphasised the importance of the NYSC scheme in promoting national integration and development, urging them to seize this opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Bayelsa State and the nation at large.
